This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300CE was previously auctioned through The MB Market in May of 2021 and is now being relisted by the original seller. This example was sold new through Mercedes-Benz of Lynnwood, Washington in December 1992. It remained with the original owner in Seattle, Washington until August 2003 where it was sold to subsequent longterm owners. Finished in Black (040) over Black Leather (261), the car is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 6-cylinder engine paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. This C124 currently shows 145,674 miles on the odometer and is offered at No Reserve by the selling dealer with a folder of complete maintenance records dating back to 2003, manufacturer's literature, two original keys, and a clean Georgia title.
Finished in Black (040) with lower body cladding in Grey, this coupe has been kept nicely and no signs of clear coat damage or rust are present. A very minor indention is noted on the driverside front fender just above the lower cladding in addition to a small rock chip on the left side of the windshield. Features include a power sliding sunroof with tilt function, headlight washers with automatic wipers, and a pillarless window design.
This example retains the original 8-hole chrome wheels measuring 15x7 on all four corners. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires measuring 215/60. The wheels show some light curb rash and some peeling chrome inside the spokes near the barrels.
The cabin is trimmed in Black Leather (261) across the seats, door cards, armrest, and dashboard. Additional leather-trimmed features include the steering wheel and shift knob. All leather surfaces are reported to be original and nicely kept with no tears or scuffs. The Black dashboard is free from cracks along with the door cards and rear headrests. The retractable seat belt arms for the front seats are reportedly inoperable althought the seatbelts themselves do function with no issues. The center console, dash, and doors are trimmed in original Burl Walnut wood and shows some light cracking under the shifter surround. Interior features include the original Becker head unit (with security code), automatic climate control, power mirrors, and power folding rear headrests. The original Mercedes-Benz carpet floor mats are included.
The analog odometer shows 145,660 original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 64000-rpm redline, and an analog odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and an analog clock and digital external temperature gauge.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline 6-cylinder was rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new and is paired with a 722.3 automatic four-speed transmission. While a recent service includes a complete fluid flush, comprehensive service records are included with the car by way of paper files and floppy disks. The included records show all major and minor services between 2003 and 2019 including a 2003 receipt showing replacement of the engine wiring harness by Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco.
This Black on Black C124 coupe is offered at No Reserve with a folder of complete maintenance records dating back to 2003, manufacturer's literature, two original keys, and a clean Georgia title.

Looking like a great buy!
The maintenance records with this is impressive!
@Sacco agreed! Takes me back to the 90's
I usually hate the chrome version of these 124 wheels but it really works well on a black coupe. Great car and great presentation - GLWA!
Good luck to the seller and an early congrats to the buyer, this is a killer example!
Amazing how the lines on these pop with proper presentation, it's aged like a fine wine.
@JAdkins79 Don't forget an AMG kit and you suddenly double the value of the car immediately.
The 124 as a coupe is absolutely perfect. I'd throw a set of euro headlights on there and call it a day!
