The 20” AMG double-spoke forged aluminum alloy wheels were fitted with a new set of Toyo Extensa HP tires in August 2023 which measure 255/35 front and 275/30 rear. Minor curb rash is visible on the front passenger-side wheel. A four-wheel alignment was also performed along with a new set of front pads and rotors in February 2023. Braking is handled by twin-sliding AMG calipers which bite down on ventilated discs front and rear. The Active Body Control suspension provides adjustable ride height and stiffness.
The four-spoke AMG steering wheel features aluminum paddle shifters and fronts a digital 200-mph speedometer along with an analog 7k-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge and a coolant temperature indicator. The digital odometer currently shows 76k miles from new.
This C216 is powered by a hand-built 6.0-liter Biturbo V12 which is factory rated for 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG SpeedShift five-speed automatic transmission. The most recent oil change was performed in February 2023 at 75k miles. Extensive service history is included with documentation viewable in the photo gallery along with underbody photos.
Videos below have been provided by the seller showing an exterior walk around, interior tour, and driving footage of the car.

@munichhero Let us know how this turns out, definitely the best car I've seen on this website in the history of this website. Would love your first impressions of it as well as any initial maintenance and how you are enjoying it.
Great result for a great car. Thanks to all bidders and congratulations to @Munichhero. You have bought a most extraordinary CL65. And thanks to my friends at The Mercedes Market for creating this great platform.

A VMI report has been added to the end of the gallery.
Last day for this rare CL65. Thanks to all for the bids and comments so far. I invite bidders to look at all 195 images so you have a complete picture of this CL. This is an opportunity to own 1 of only 40 examples produced globally - 20 for the US and 20 for Europe. As years go by I feel this car will be regarded as one of the rarest and most fascinating modern AMG models. It will be forever recognizable by its other worldly Alubeam paint. And notable as a car with one of the highest MSRPs in Mercedes' passenger car history! It pays to refresh your screen regularly in the closing minutes of the auction so you have an up-to-date view of bidding and time remaining for the auction. Don't wait until the last minute to bid and risk loosing this extraordinary CL65. The new owner will receive the full handbook package shown, two keys, misc. service invoices, and the full factory internal VMI report. The car is being sold as-is with no warranty implied of otherwise. California residents will pay appropriate tax and license fees. I can assist with shipping via my long time broker if necessary. The car is located at my gallery in Burlingame, CA - 5 minutes south of SFO. Good luck to all bidders.
@570TE I did not receive invoices related to the list of servicing the seller provided me. However, the CarFax entries support the services noted. Yes, MZF did cycle the suspension through the suspension 'rodeo' via their test software and their were no issues in the system. And I've had no ABC issues during my driving.

Are there invoices to support the entries listed on #209-210? This is a handy list, but the actual records would be appreciated. Also, did the PPI / safety inspection include a test of the ABC computer and components? Thanks!

@MBFahrer Thanks for the note. We have to accept tonal differences in certain lights when plastic bumper covers are refurbished. It's a fact of life. And the one-off Alubeam Silver is particularly difficult to match due to the fact it requires an entirely different process to paint than standard metallic paint. It has twice the metallic content of any other metallic and requires 2-3 times the amount of clear. If fact I was particularly happy with the result given the lengthy process dictated by Alubeam. The difference is very subtle in most lights. It has an otherworldly glow.
The rear bumper is repainted, and doesn't match the rest of the car. It also appears that the front bumper does not match the paint color perfectly either?

Ok, I'll get us started:
@mbheritage wow I learned something new. I thought I knew more than the average bear on the “CL”s. Had no idea that they sold 40 of them at a 50% premium (albeit an already very pricey and rare car). I guess to 40 people that wasn’t exclusive enough. Very well presented and has enough mileage on it to be driven and enjoyed rather than looked at.
@mbz2000 Thanks for the note. Yes, image 207 is a printout of the Monroney label's raw data. This includes all the option code numbers and attendant descriptions in addition to the paint code etc. The important codes here are the options - P97, H73, 793 and the specific price components of this special car. Suggested list price in the US was indeed $298,775. There are articles online supporting this price. Hope this helps.
@mbz2000 I've seen a few of these 40th cars. I believe starting MSRP was 295k- should be some car and driver/road and track articles out there outling the nearly 300k sticker shock at the time. For those curious, Alubeam is FANTASTIC and the upper hides are really rich in person.
Seller, can you please clarify pic #207 was the MSRP really $298,775? Official Maroney Sticker would go a long way for legitimacy. Thx and truly interested.
Yes. Please.
