This 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG is finished in Black (040) over Anthracite Leather (801) and is powered by a 6.2-liter DOHC V8 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Features include 20″ AMG wheels, bi-xenon headlights, Keyless-GO, power-adjustable and dynamic front seats with memory and heat, a rear-view camera, Night View Assist, COMAND with navigation, a rear sunshade, and a Harman-Kardon sound system. The vehicle was originally delivered to Mercedes-Benz of Columbia (Dick Dyer & Assoc.) and has remained in Pennsylvania its entire life. It now has 50,007 miles, and services include a power steering fluid flush, cabin air filter, and ABC service at the dealer at 43k miles. This C216 is now offered by the selling dealer with the original window sticker, two keys, manufacturer’s books & literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The exterior is finished in Black (040) and includes an aggressive AMG-specific bumper cover, side skirts, and a rear diffuser with quad exhaust outlets. Additional features consist of bi-xenon headlights with cornering function, fog lights, and a sunroof. The gallery includes uniform paint meter reading all around the exterior.
Staggered AMG 20″ wheels are mounted with Falken Azenis FK510 tires measuring 255/35 up front and 275/35 out back. The car is equipped with Active Body Control suspension and silver-finished AMG-logo calipers with cross-drilled rotors at each corner.
The cabin is upholstered in Anthracite Leather (801) with a designo anthracite Alcantara headliner, black carpets, and Ash Tree Wood (black, 2A70) veneers on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional features include heated, ventilated, and dynamic front seats with memory settings, triple-zone automatic climate control, Night View Assist, COMAND with navigation, a Harman-Kardon Logic7 sound system, a power rear sunshade, and Keyless-GO.
The multi-function steering wheel frames digital instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer, an AMG-branded 8k-rpm tachometer, and additional gauges displaying fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer displays just over 50k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The naturally aspirated 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 518 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The engine features an aluminum block and head, along with port fuel injection.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below. The original window sticker, which is included in the sale, lists an original MSRP of $141,965 in 2007.
The image gallery also includes photos of uniform paint meter readings all around on what is believed to be an original, paintwork-free example. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration, emissions, and service history in Pennsylvania between July 2007 and its most recent entry in August 2020.

I wasn’t trying to be negative about this site. If you’re happy with the results, my opinion is that the buyer should be thrilled! Your car is beautiful. You happened to mention the one that sold for $39k, which I thought was really a bit of a reach, but they’re hopefully thrilled also. I liked yours better and was pulling for you! Congratulations and I would buy a car from you anytime. As I mentioned during the auction, I bought one a couple of weeks ago with less miles and the P30 option, and am very happy. Car is going to dealer tomorrow to change all fluids and whatever else pops up. Congratulations again to both of you. Best regards
I disagree I have sold on both sites and sometimes you can get lost in the crowd on the other site. All Good!
No offense to the MB Market at all. I’m glad to see new alternative sites like this one. But I can’t help but wonder how this car would have done on the “other” established big one. Just an honest thought.
Great auction!! Congrats to the buyer and seller!
Congratulations PCM1 you really got a great car!! Thanks everyone for all the interest.
Great buy!

The tires are Falken Azenis FK510. Tread wear 300, Temp A Traction AA, X-Load. They are not directional however they do have an OUTSIDE marking. Our shop did not install these tires.
What brand and type tire is fitted to this car? Did your shop install them?

Good Morning everyone, 7 hours to go until someone gets a absolutely beautiful CL 63! I am available for any last minute questions. We have been selling and servicing Mercedes Benz automobiles at our shop in Pa. for over 40 years so you can rest assured we are very familiar with these cars! This is the first auction on this site for us, however we have sold many spectator AMG models on other sites, privately and auction houses. The silver 8k mile 1999 Mercedes E55 that was recently sold here was a car that I personally sourced and sold. So good luck to all and let’s get this AMG car sold today!

I like to do bolt JIC simply because the cost Before failure is under half of what it costs post.. That and it's nice to not have to Worry about it. Tappets can be purchased direct from INA very reasonably..but if you like trick bits the DLC coated M159/black series tappets are spiffy. While doing bolt it's the perfect time to update the breather to the latest and greatest..as well as inspect the magnesium intake for any metal degredation issues etc.. If you have the Time available, taking said intake apaprt and getting it freshly ceramic coated will Greatly increase the life of all the metal/static bits. These are Awesome cars, we take care of two here in the shop.. I Will say the S comes with a very docile factory tune and they Really wake up when the ME is re-flashed...that and nothing sounds better then an uncorked M156/59! GLWTA:)

@Cpl8888 Thanks!
I would say they are the original rotors and they are in good condition, they hardly have a lip. No reason they would not go another 50k miles
@cpl8888 Do you know if the rotors have been replaced on this car yet? If not, any idea what the remaining life on them is at this point? I see brakes were done previously on the carfax but not sure if that was just the pads or the pads/rotors. Thanks.

You never see these cars in the wild. I believe only 1400 or so were made for 2008 in the first place.
The vehicle is located in Moosic, Pennsylvania

Where is the vehicle now?
Personally, I think the head bolt issue is entirely too overblown. Ive owned six E63 cars between 2007-2009 and none have ever had head bolt issues. These cars ranged from very low miles (20k) to 150k+ miles and never once were head bolts a problem. Frankly, I had more issues with camshaft position sensors, etc. but that's all manageable stuff. With less that .01% of cars being impacted by backing-out or failing head bolts, I personally don't see it as a necessary predicate to ownership or an absolute imperative to fix following acquisition. The percentage of failure is just too small, all things considered. Beautiful coupe - GLWA!

First aid kit.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to add some information regarding this beautiful CL 63. I have known this car since new, the original owner serviced the car on time and at the dealer. The second owner had the car serviced at a local independent shop. The car has no paint work and that includes both bumpers. The interior is in like new condition with no noticeable wear to any of the seats or carpet. Neither of the 2 owners ever smoked in this car, so the interior is void of any orders. The car comes with all of its books, tool kit, first aid kid and both Keys. The only blemishes are the scrapes very low under the front bumper cover, and they are only apparent on a lift. The car absolutely presents as new, It is hard to believe it even has 50k miles on it. The car just received a routine service and needs nothing. I will be available all week to answer questions and if anyone wishes to come and drive this exceptional AMG it is available.
