@GoBoGoI agree the pics make the paint "look" like a Maco job in some of the photos. Fisheyes and scratches seem to be there, possibly not original paint? Some of the detailing may have been rushed or missed also. But I love the colour! And to the ride height question, I also have an E60 W210 (stock Japanese build)and mine sits exactly the same height (from what I can tell from the pics) as this one. And absolutely no rubbing at all with the Michelin pilot sports I have on it, even at high speeds. 😉
Wow, this is about as pre-merger as you get for sale typically! And a wagon! Fantastic collector AMG for sale here. Hope it goes for a good price for whoever has kept it so nice.
@ProdigalPetrolHead I just looked at one for sale a couple weeks back, absolutely flat, doing the famous MB Airmatic lowrider impression, and it was definitely a CDI. The pics are hard to see for 100% certain but I did see the button didn't appear to be there but really no directly positive assumptions could be made from any of the gallery pics inside or underneath. I own A E500 4matic with the std Airmatic susp. as well as numerous other MB with it also. I do all of my own work on them also. I was just confirming on these options, as I could mostly tell, but wanted to make 100% sure as I'm a very serious bidder. If one has these options and the leather option/wood wheel and so on, as that its what I'm mostly after especially in this type of mileage and climate. They are more common when optioned like this one. Still a super nice car, but not as optioned as it could have been. So this one unfortunately I'm not as interested tbh.
Hi, I just want to confirm a few things. Does it have heated seats/steering wheel? Also is it on coil springs and not the airmatic suspension? And is the listing wrong about the Harmon Kardon stereo option, as it appears not to have the badge on the door speaker covers like my 2004 E500 does? It should have the sub under the rear deck if it does have it also. Thank you.
