@andytrio5 X 112 is the standard MB bolt pattern; has been for 50 years or so. Lug size increased in the early 2000's so your only worry would be offset and width. That is usually solved with good spacers but I haven't dealt with 10 n 12 inch wide rims prior.
@avemariaTexas title
Is this NA OM602, turbo or turbo with a charge air cooler?
@shervinatorI had an AMG wing on my s123 previously and it was made of this rubbery stuff; this looks like the same material.
@shervinatorserious question gets a flippant answer.
What's this made of?
The dynamic seats are controlled how? in the console display same as the S213? (e class wagon) can you also take a pic of the ventilated seats controls? Was the heads up display an option on this GLE? if so does it have it?
note that all the previous chassis (W212) has a recall on the subframe and if it has corrosion it'll be replaced by your local dealer- within 15 years I believe. This recall does not extend to this chassis (W213) iirc.
for notes paint code 997u is also known as "Kallait Blue Metallic"/"Callaite green metalic" and is a more blue green than other greens from the same era. I've owned several Mercedes in green and they are beautiful as is this one. My personal favorite is (2005)code 185 (jade metallic black effect)and (2004) 816 everest green effect.
Five speed transmission?
I've been looking for a w211 e350 in green to replace my w211 e320 wagon. I'm a MB enthusiast and have had many many over the years. This ad copy below is offensive to me and stops me from bidding. It may be awesome to others, YMMV. "The market has taken notice what the WASP-ified set has long since heralded: nothing beats a well-maintained, aging Mercedes wagon for flying under the radar with class, style, and confidence."
Has the engine been rectified for the common m272 ailment from 2006-2008 engines?
GLWS! I had a black euro 500SEL with many AMG features as well. Loved it. It had the euro exhaust collectors unlike the log style seen on this one. This one looks great.
Nice looking wagon! Rust look minimal and the car has been taken care of. If you have a chance show us a pic of under the battery
I once owned a 1972 6 cylinder version; not as nice as this one. Obviously well cared for and maintained properly. Kudos and GLWA.
I assume the third seat headrests can be removed and stored above the spare and the sear folds flat, correct? (#127) The passenger front seat back doesn't seem to fit properly (#115/#105) ? Was that due to an attempt to fix the broken map pocket? thx
in pic #50/51 the drivers door wasn't completely closed? (edit- I tried to delete but as a new user still don't know how to do so and I see the other pics which show the door closed and lines up as designed)
