My son's and and I are actually 124/129/Sacco addicts. Had the first 300CE cab in Georgia back in 1992-2. New 500E approved special order red for 1993 and many since. One of our cars won 2nd Bruno Sacco award at Legends last year even though we had not entered, just there to get Silver Certified . 1993 300 CE Sportline coupe in Bornite wearing AMG 17" rims. We hope to get these for a different Cab. The silver one from MB Market is our frequent driver. Hope to speaking soon
Welcome @Donkster. From viewing your profile I can see you won an auction for a 1995 E320 Cab on MB Market. These wheels would look great on that car.
Thank you!!
Hi @Donkster. I will make sure the wheels are thoroughly wrapped and protected. I have an account with Fedex so I can ship anywhere in the United States or International.
Will the seller assist in having the wheels professionally packaged, insured and shipped? Thank You!

Thanks for the kind words @Jonie13. Yes these wheels are a sure fit on the W124 sedan, wagon, and cabriolet. I would like to reiterate that the only W124 Models that this set does not properly fit on is the 500E and the E420. These models have a wider wheel arch. I found a great example of a 1993 400E that has this particular set on the car. The stance looks proper and I will upload a couple photos to show everyone how the setup looks.
I have this same part number set in my 1995 e320 which I’m currently selling. They are the perfect fit for non e500e 124’s. I used to own a 1995 e420 with the square set of C36 front wheels and they rubbed slightly on the fenders under hard driving (car was lowered on H&R springs. This set looks super nice. I would encourage anyone with a regular 124 to bid. Fit is perfect! GLWTS!
Thanks to all who helped me understand what fits and what doesn't.
Apologize meant to say E420 instead of 400E.
After some great conversation about the fitment of these wheels on the 500E & 400E I can now thank and confirm with @gsxr and @BlueridgeMB. This set does not belong on this particular model. The French W124 fitment chart provided by @gsxr proves this to be true. The 17” Monoblocks that do fit are the 17x8.5 ET30 set. My Mercedes fitment chart also states that the 8.5 wheels fit the “Widewheel arch” under the W124 section. https://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/information/fitting_chart/mercedes-benz. Other than the 500 and 400E, this set is a direct fit on all other W124 models.
Hi @gsxr. Thanks for clearing things up. I was under the impression that this set fit the 500E without any clearance issues. The 8 hole OEM wheels measure 16x8 ET34. The 17” Monos used on 500E measure 17x8.5 ET30. Based on the fenders of the 500E, you helped me understand that the stance looks correct with a wider wheel and smaller offset. @Jim_Rosenthal. I think at the end of the day this set can fit your car, but its stance will look out of place.
This clarifying comment is most welcome. Thank you.
@BlueridgeMB is correct. These wheels are 7.5" wide, which is narrower than the stock 8.0"-wide 500E wheels, and therefore these wheels would be a downgrade on any E500E. Also, because they are narrower AND also nearly 10mm different offset, these wheels will sit much too far inward in the fender wells, and would look awful unless you used 15-25mm spacers on all four corners. The part number prefix is irrelevant, Mercedes shared parts across multiple different chassis. @Jim_Rosenthal, click the link below to a Mercedes wheel brochure. These wheels are found in the top/center section, AMG monobloc (II), under the accessory part number B6-602-0086. See the column Rem. (Remark/Footnote), #6, which says in French "Not for E420 and E500". https://www.w124performance.com/images/W124_wheels/124_OE_wheel_chart.jpg These 17x7.5 ET42 wheels are a perfect fitment for all other 124 chassis except the widebody E500E.
So these wheels in fact would not fit on my 1992 500E? There is nothing wrong with the 8-hole wheels I have, which are original. I just think the AMG wheels look better.
@BlueridgeMB. Thank you for your insight that is good to know. From doing some research on the MB Forums people who run 17s on the 500E/E500 W124 models use 4 of the W202 rears which measure 17x8.5 ET30. While this looks pleasing and fits fine, the part number starts with 202 and not 124. The offset of this set is ET42. According to the Mercedes Benz Fitment Chart, these wheels will fit all W124 makes and models including the 500E. On the 500E Forum, examples of 17s on the car were all W202 Monoblocks which makes this set rare to find on a 500E.
@Jim_Rosenthal These fit narrow/standard body 124's perfectly. 036's, no. You would want the 17x8.5 for your car Jim. These narrow body sets are getting harder to come by fwiw though!
Sure thing @Jim_Rosenthal. Don’t miss out on this set because they do not come around very often.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
Hi @Jim_Rosenthal. This set is specifically designed for the W124 which includes your 500E. These wheels have the 124 part number which means it is a direct fit that does not require spacers.
Would these wheels fit on a 500E, without spacers? Thank you.
