This C126 now shows 81k miles and is offered with manufacturer's literature, a new set of H&R springs, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The body is finished in Bordeaux Red (567) after being previously repainted from its original Arctic White color. The car is fitted with a full period-correct Zender body kit consisting of a front lip, side skirts, rear apron, and trunk spoiler. Additional features include a European front bumper and headlights, fog lights, a glass W140 sunroof (currently inoperative), and chrome trim. The seller notes various rock chips, dents, and scrapes around the body and close up photos are viewable in the gallery.
Period-correct multi-piece mesh wheels are paint-matched to the body and wrapped in Road Hugger GT tires measuring 225/55 all around with 2016 date codes. Zender center caps are fitted and standard equipment included four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and rear self-leveling suspension. Recent service includes new thrust arms, new sway bar links, and new brake rotors and pads on all four corners.
The cabin features Medium Red (277) leather seating surfaces along with matching carpets and door panels. Amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and burl wood trim accenting the dashboard, center console, and doors. The seller states that the A/C and passenger side seatbelt extender are inoperable and cracks in the plastic speaker covers on the rear deck are visible.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and a combination gauge for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and fuel economy. The six-digit odometer shows 81k miles.
The 5.5-liter M117 V8 features Bosch Jetronic fuel injection and was factory-rated at 238 horsepower with 287 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Recent service includes new Bosch spark plugs, an oil and filter change, new thrust arms, new sway bar links, and new brake rotors and pads on all four corners in preparation for the sale. The seller notes the car will need new drive belts and the neutral safety switch intermittently acts up requiring the car to be started in neutral.

@zachmac im not sure I have a clean Florida title
Carfax says registered and titled in IL several times after FL?
It wasn't being driven so it did not get registered
If the car came back to IL from FL in 2000 why is it still on a FL title?
NP, had to ask. :)
@zachmac unfortunately I do not have that interior anymore.
Any chance you'll include the Palamino interior as well if the car sells?

Got it.
@zachmac the previous owner gave me another set of seats that appear to have been dyed.
@Youngclassicamg Im confused. You got the car in your You Tube videos with Palamino seats. You put in the red ones and you don't know where they came from?
@zachmac looks like they were dyed
$16,000 bid placed by @Karlous
@Youngclassicamg are the red seats from a donor car; the palamino seats reupholstered; or the palamino seats dyed?
@zachmac no problem, It had smaller wheels so may have looked lower and probably when I jacked the car up to change the wheels it changed the ride height do to the bad bushings in that heigh adjustment arm.
Thx for the quick response. When you first got the car the rear end was sitting very low. Looks okay now. What changed? And just to verify, all the red interior on seats is leather?
@zachmac I have not diagnosed the ac. As far as the self leveling I just ran out to the garage and took a look at the arm that controls ride height. The plastic bushings in the little arm are deteriorated so I put in the trunk so it does not fall off. Pretty easy fix I would would have repaired if I noticed it earlier. The sls reservoir is holding fluid and if you move the lever under the car it raises and lowers the car.
@youngclassicamg have you made any attempt at a preliminary diagnosis of the A/C problem? Also, a previous poster asked if the self leveling rear end is in working order?

@Youngclassicamg Sorry about that. I went right to the comments section and posted the question before realizing you mentioned it above in your description.
@Rocktop white
What was the original paint color?
Additional pictures have been added to the gallery showing the replaced passenger seat that is fully functional.
$8,750 bid placed by @Ilovebigtoys
Nice to see a Zender kitted sec these dont come around often anymore. A lot of rare parts on this car. GLWTS
The passenger seat belt presenter has been fixed and is operational. The passenger side seat has also been replaced with a fully functional one . I can also include the non operational one with the sale if the winning bidder would like .
@SwissBliss correct
@Youngclassicamg So a dash cap, not a replacement new old stock dash?
All maintenance has been mentioned in the listing. The car can be seen in person you are welcome to do a ppi . As mentioned prior the car was sitting for some time and the car was repainted by the previous owner. The car will need to be gone through mechanically if you plan on daily driving it. However being that it sat for many years prior I wouldn't doubt the mileage is accurate. it is rust free underneath which is very hard to find when searching for an SEC . Thanks for checking it out.
that paint job is just ouchhhhh... any accidents? looks like the rear bumper was fixed. Is the rear suspension operational? accumulators replaced? Any additional records of maintenance and mileage accuracy? I see nothing after 1988 and 15k on it.
@Motts71 It was the low washer fluid light
What is the yellow light on the dash during the driving video?
@zachmac It Is a replacement new old stock dash cap
@Youngclassicamg when you first rescued the car the dash was pretty shot. Is this a replacement dash or a cap?
@MikeFinnelly yes that is correct ! They are pretty hard to come by
@zachmac aside from the aforementioned items if I were to keep the car I would do fluid changes and just go through it mechanically. The car was sitting for some time prior to my purchase .
Ad states: "While this C126 still has some unfinished business to attend to," @Youngclassicamg can you list / elaborate on what the known "unfinished business" list is? Does the known list go past sunroof, A/C and passenger side belt?
The wheels are Epsilon Southern Ways
