This 1990 Mercedes-Benz 350SDL is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over Beige Leather (265) and power is provided by a 3.5-liter turbodiesel inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller has added approximately 10k of the 187k miles since acquiring the car in 2008. Equipment includes a sunroof, air conditioning, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket head unit with auxiliary input capability. The owner of the car has maintained it as needed with a personal diesel technician. It’s believed this W126 received thorough servicing with prior ownership as well. All driving functions work as intended along with electrical, air conditioning, and comfort features. Now displaying 187k miles, this W126 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, the factory tool roll, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title.
This long-wheelbase diesel is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) with matching lower cladding and bumpers. Equipment includes a sliding sunroof with tilt function, headlight wipers, and factory yellow fog lights. The windshield and all windows remain factory original from new. The body shows minimal signs of wear with a scuff noted at the right side of the front bumper and a missing tow hook cover. The car has received a professional detailing in preparation for the sale.
Factory 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with Falken tires measuring 205/65 and displaying 2006 date codes. The tires reportedly show no dry rot and very little use despite the age. Braking is handled by rotors at all four corners.
The interior features Beige Leather (265) upholstery along with matching door cards, carpets and trim. Zebrano wood adorns the center console, dash, and door cards without cracking visible. Amenities include automatic climate control, an aftermarket head unit, power-adjustable front seats with memory, and a driver-side airbag. Original Beige carpet floor mats are shown and included. All electronics are reportedly in working order with the exception of the cruise control. The air conditioning is said to be fully functional and efficient.
An airbag steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, and a combination gauge displaying oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 187k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.
The OM603 3.5-liter turbodiesel inline-six was factory rated at 130 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is supplied to the wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery. The seller reports services and maintenance to be up to date.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists linear mileage updates since new. This W126 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, the factory tool roll, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title.
They say nothing lasts forever but pick any classic Mercedes diesel and it’ll surely put that saying to the test. This W126 features the later OM603 with a larger bore for a 3.5L displacement and has become a rare spec on today’s market, especially being a long-wheelbase example. As record states, the most recent owner of this handsome example is a trucking and logistics magnate out of Virginia with their own team of diesel master technicians on call. We feel extremely confident in this turbo diesel W126 knowing it has been enthusiast-owned and serviced with an open checkbook. If you’re looking for a flagship W126 sedan that’s able to last for hundreds of thousands of miles more while turning heads at every intersection, then look no further.

Congratulations! I had my hand on the bid button several times over the past 5 minutes but just couldn’t press it. My favorite exterior color and the best diesel 126 there is. Hope it brings you many years of joyful cruising!

Understand. Thanks for the quick reply!
@Alt767Gelt Yes sir it was actually a warning light that one of the bulbs needs to be replaced. I think it was a reverse light bulb that was out. I'd be happy to replace the bulb for whomever wins it! Cheers - Stone
On the startup video, I noticed a dash light. I’m thinking it was an exterior light or brake pad indicator/ABS. Can you confirm?

@Davidsbenz560 I saw that the glow plugs were replaced but didn't see a compression test. I can check again today
Has there ever been a record of a compression test ?
In the video the car started , not showing any white smoke from the tailpipe, which shows no antifreeze leaks into the cylinders

Id like to see the tail pipe as soon as u start it. Also see the front end control arms , and try to hear it run , where's the car now to see ?
@Awismot the vehicle has not been towed recently. The tow hook cover has been missing for some time.
Hi, the vehicle looks to have been towed recently, can you give the details on why, when, and remedy?
@Davidsbenz560 The seat springs are in impressive shape. The front suspension has been replaced recently. There should be several driving videos but I can take another for you. Was there anything in particular that you'd like to see, in the video? -Stone
That car has seat springs, are seats broken ? Does it have white smoke from tail pipe ? How's bushings on front end and control arms ? Can u make a video of engine running and driving the car ?
I had the opportunity to preview this car over the weekend. It is a superb example that the prior owners cherished. I would have guessed it had 188k miles when I saw the odometer. The wood has a bright luster, and the seats are soft and supple. A well-preserved original example eager for the next owner to enjoy.
