This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Coupe was sold new through Mercedes-Benz of Wappinger Falls, New York to the original owner who custom-ordered the car in 1994. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Blue Leather (262), the car is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-six paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. Most notably this car has had the wiring harness replaced along with the head gasket in 2010 and regular maintenance has been performed. Features include power front seats, power windows, automatic climate control, and a power sunroof. The seller acquired this car in early 2021 and has added just over 700 miles. This C124 currently shows just under 40k miles on the odometer and is offered by the seller with the original window sticker, partial service records, two keys with a valet key, original radio card, tool kit, manufacturer's literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Kentucky title.
Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) with Grey lower body cladding, this coupe shows no signs of rust and no major imperfections. The facelift model shows revised bumpers, headlamps, and hoodline and notable exterior features include a power sunroof, headlamp washers, smoked taillamps, and power rearview mirrors. Detailed photos of the exterior can be seen in the gallery.
Machined OEM 15” wheels wear Michelin Energy MXV4 tires measuring factory-spec 205/60 on all four corners. The tires show ample tread depth with 2003 date codes. The front passenger side wheel shows some clear coat failure near the lugs and light rash from previously mounted wheel weights.
The cabin is trimmed in Blue Leather (262) across the seats, door cards, armrest, and dashboard. Additional leather-trimmed features include the steering wheel and shift knob. All leather surfaces are reported to be original and the dashboard is shown in detail with no cracks or creasing. Original Blue carpets for the front and rear are accented with original Blue floor mats showing the embroidered Mercedes emblem and heel pad on the drivers side. The center console, dash, and doors are accented with Burl Walnut wood. Interior features include the original Becker head unit with original radio card, an aftermarket cd changer in the trunk, automatic climate control, power mirrors, and power front and rear windows.
The analog odometer shows 39,998 original miles. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, and an analog odometer with trip function. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure along with an analog clock and digital external temperature gauge.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six was rated at 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new. Notable services include a head gasket and wiring harness replacement in 2010 along with regular servicing in 2018 consisting of an oil service, belt replacement, and cabin air filter. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 722.3 automatic four-speed transmission. The car received new front brake pads and rotors after a comprehensive inspection with an MB-traoned master tech at Startech in Atlanta, Georgia. The inspection revealed no issues other than the front brake wear.
This C124 currently shows just under 40k miles on the odometer and is offered by the seller with the original window sticker, partial service records, two keys with a valet key, original radio card, tool kit, manufacturers literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Kentucky title.

There's always been something special about the pillarless coupe design and Mercedes-Benz surely does it best. To top the range of E-Class Coupes, this ultimate production year example shows a beatutiful Navy interior and might be one of the best looking C124's we've encountered. Luckily for the next owner there's decades of life left in this rare coupe and it's sure to bring attention from your local cars and coffee up to the next concours event. If you're in the market for a 124 chassis, this coupe demands strong consideration and should pay dividends back to its next owner.

Cool car, but original paint is a joke. It’s obvious front fenders were repainted. Another fault is wood which was not restored properly. Everything else is nice.
The new owner will be very pleased!
Nicely done. Worth every penny!

Hey everyone, I am the son of the original owners. My parents custom ordered and purchased the car new, and I (begrudgingly) helped them prepare the car and sell it on another auction site, where the current owner acquired it. I helped them with their initial inspection at delivery as I am a car enthusiast and OCD about quality, and I have known this car well until last year when the new owner took possession. The car was delivered to my parents when I was in my late teens and it would be a decade before I drove it (with them in the car); this car has been babied, adult driven, and meticulously cared for its entire life by my parents and from what I understand, the current owner. My parents saw themselves as stewards of this rare coupe and only put it up for sale because they were not driving it enough and hoped someone else could enjoy it and care for it as they had. The paint is all original; the car has never been in an accident or had any authorized paintwork performed. There are a number of other images and videos from the previous sale and on YouTube that attest to the quality and uniformity of the original silver MB paint, and the quality of the vehicle. The seller refers to my dad's integrity and sincerity, and I can honestly say he (my dad, the original owner) values integrity above all else; he had nothing to gain by deceiving anyone and would have bought the car back if the current owner had found any inconsistencies or issues that were undisclosed. If I had the garage space to give this beautiful car the care it deserves I would have bought it in a heartbeat last year instead of listing it, and frankly I considered bidding on it during this auction to bring it back to the family, but I can't give this low mileage beauty the care it deserves. Finally: I posted this TLDR story of my own volition. I have nothing to gain from the sale of the car and while the seller has been in touch with my parents to verify authenticity, I have not been in contact with him. The seller has not requested nor have my parents requested this post. I just wanted everyone to understand that this is the real deal; an unmolested original example of one of the best driving and best looking coupes ever produced by any manufacturer. Happy bidding and happy motoring to the new owner.
Welcome MB enthusiasts to the final day of this auction. This car has been meticulously cared for since new, and it shows. I’m confident the new owner will be very pleased.
It certainly is not noticeable in person and I am OCD. I was satisfied by the sincerity of the original owner but I guess only he knows for sure.
got it. I asked because the driver door seems to be lighter that the front fender and the rear quarter panel and it's consistent through out the picture gallery.
Before I purchased the car the original owner assured me the car has had no body or paintwork performed since new. I contacted him again recently and he confirmed the paintwork is all original. I have no reason to doubt his sincerity.
@cmpesson can you confirm there's no paintwork done to the car and all panels are original?

We’re you the winning bidder on the Bring A Trailer auction this past February or we’re you the seller?

Wow this is pretty to look at. Love the Navy leather!

Unfortunately, I have an agreement with my wife to limit my "collection" to 3 cars. I currently have 6. Three of the others need substantial sorting and I have two I will never sell.
Greetings everyone, I am pleased to offer for sale this very original E320 coupe in outstanding condition. It has been meticulously maintained since new in a climate controlled environment and it shows. This car is rare in that less than 300 were manufactured in the final year of production. Even though the car has been driven on a regular basis its condition indicates its one of the best examples in existence. I have had the car inspected by a master Mercedes mechanic recently and can confidently say its solid. The only needed attention was replacement of the original front rotors and pads. This car can be a show winner or a very elegant daily driver. Good luck to the winner as they will be delighted with this beauty.
Hello there I'm located in Roswell Georgia is it possible for me to come and inspect this vehicle in person? You can contact me at [email protected]
Just curious, why selling so soon after purchase? Looks amazing...
It's just getting warmed up! Also great to read in the description that the two major service items for this era, the wiring harness and the head gasket, have already been taken care of.
