@Veritas911 don't have that info in front of me and won't be able to get you an answer prior to auction end. I can tell you it was done correctly. The shop that did it has done many of these conversions with no issues.
@tedb The "real world" color is what it looks like in the images. We tried taking the videos in different light but because of the sun (and the phone camera) we couldn't get it to come out as crispy as the images. It's definitely not a washed out red. It's more vivid as depicted in the images.
@CarCrazy24 Correct!
@Qualules no worries!
@Qualules not exactly sure what "rubber/vinyl inserts" you are referring to. If you are talking about the rubber rail inserts that came on the W463's, they did not come on the w460. If you are referring to something else, please attach a picture. Thanks!
@willem @Roverchef Pics have been uploaded. Should be on site shortly.
@willem Pics will be uploaded today. There's nothing to hide.
@Roverchef -Turbo was added about 8 months ago. -Don't have any docs that state the mileage. If we had to guess maybe 125K km based on the condition but don't have anything to confirm this. -We've been driving it around town between 30-50mph but has plenty more left in it. Haven't gone on the highway yet but believe it will do just fine. I just don't think you'll be winning many races ;). -Pics will be upload today. Thanks!
@Willem There are a few underside photos in the gallery. Will try to take requested pics tomorrow if weather permits. We source clean trucks, service and upgrade them. Fix what's needed and offer them for sale.
@Roverchef Thanks!
@NYCdriver thanks!
@DCESAL They slide almost all the way back which leaves some space to recline the seat back. I'm 6'2 and fit comfortably. The partition is not removable.
@Cornell89 this has a OM616.938 engine. Not sure about 0-60 or top speed but it sure isn't setting any records. This is a numbers matching truck. The Force Motors engines were built under license for use in their own vehicles.
@DCESAL that knob is the kill switch. The Kasten's that were delivered in this configuration did not come with the rearview mirror
@edand no, not possible without cutting
Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by to take a look at this incredible Kastenwagen. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
