20k-Mile 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK320

I can attest that the wheels are rare. They were not used on every A208 CLK55 cabriolet.

Standard 5 point wheels are found on many CLK55 cabs but these 2 piece wheels are less common and tend to be found on the Designo trimmed 208 CLK cabs most often.

The M112 is a pleasure to drive and has plenty of ability to get this car where it needs to go without issue. There is a good of legroom in these cars to boot.

Bubbling is rust. The area under the rear glass is rust and is extremely common.

I own a 2003 in this exact spec.

65,000 miles of flawless driving.

These cars handle amazingly well for a long wheel base. Super quiet inside with quality tires, available torque at all speeds and fantastic road trip cars.

The largest cargo capacity of any MB wagon past or present.

I have taken three 1500 mile road trips and a few mountain trip drives. I was blown away how my non 4matic car climbed a rocky mountain path to the top with ease and effortlessly carved up mountain roads.

If one has never driven a well sorted S210, they may be surprised at just how amazingly well they ride and handle.

In the U.S., a limited run of Special Edition last year models came with birdseye and were sold in a special silver "Quartz" that had a slightly purple hue. I believe they also had different wheels than typical 210's.

2002 Mercedes-Benz E320 4Matic Wagon w/38k Miles

Great cars. I have put 65K miles on mine and it has been Japanese car reliable with 1500 mile road trips mixed it. These cars do everything well. Quiet inside and a dream on the highway.

It should be noted that the center console wood is considerably bleached and the exterior anodized trim has turned purple. These are indications a 38K mile car has not been garaged as these are both generally related to sun exposure.

4matic is helpful if you live in snow areas but causes more maintainence issues otherwise.

As a long time owner of a 210 wagon, I can add that these cars have absolutely no weak points in terms of performance. Ample torque throughout the power band.

Still repectable 0-60 times even for a 20 years old car.

As a 210 E55 owner as well, I would suppose that the wagon handles better than its sedan counterpart. It just feels more planted in curves and I can routinely push into a tight turn at 70 mph without any wiggle.

When the suspension is up to snuff, ride is fantastic. Rosd noise with quality tires is virtually non existent. I often ride with the radio off as a result

210 interior fit and finish is not lacking ib the slightest.

After putting 60K+ miles (now at 120K+) and taking multiple 1500 round trip, non-fatiguing roaf trips, I can attest that this car has never left me stranded and is a fantasric daily driver.

Keep up with basic proactive service, and there is very little to keep one from getting in and driving reliably every single day.

2003 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG w/25k miles

I purchased my W210 E55 from this seller last October on eBay. These guys had serviced it for many years and it runs like a champ at 150K miles. They had replaced parts proactively and serviced it exactly as one would like to see on a 148K mile MB. They even explained that they have a machine capable of flushing transmission fluid to get all of the old stuff out of an already maintained tranmission. I have yet to find a shop locally that offers such a service. (Dealership included.)

Car was as nice as advertised and seller answered all of my questions over multiple phone calls. I would expect the car listed here to be top notch.

2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG

As the owner of both an A208 CLK 55 cabriolet and a W210 E55, I can absolutely confirm that the CLK chassis feels lighter on its feet and is more nimble in turns.

The coupe feels a touch faster off the line while the E55 feels better rolling down the road with a heavier, more solid feel under foot.

If the CLK55 coupe drives similarly to the convertible, it would be a tough decision as to whether the coupe or sedan 55 was the keeper.

Any M113 and 722.6 pairing is golden.
