@Shimmerthe data card will only provide you the correct option codes, then it tries to assign a description to each code based on Mercedes *current* interpretation. For example the code for “high end audio” in older MB’s was then shared with the option code for Bose audio, which has now been replaced by Burmester audio. So the data card can indicate Burmester audio on a vehicle built decades before that was actually an option. I believe same thing is happening here, at some point in more recent years Mercedes changed the name from Sunburst to Yellowstone so any car with 685 color code now comes back as Yellowstone, including my 98.
According to my 98 US market SLK window sticker and dealer brochure “Sunburst Yellow” was the name used for 685 during this era.
Plus the single US model year of new M104 but with pre-facelift front end.. unicorn indeed
