@carwiz - I have no idea. Any shipping for something of this size is most likely freight style. Maybe someone else familiar with type of shipping would know.

@henkkv - I'll ship it anywhere, as long as you are aware of the transportation costs associated with something of this magnitude.
Shipping to Finland possible?

@Justadam thanks for chiming in. Good point about the bumper - never thought of it, but now that you say it, if someone hasn't seen one of the rear bumpers deconstructed, it would be confusing. And also correct on the spec. If you run the VIN in the listing, you'll see it was indeed a "491" U.S. code 1987.
I think some of the questions about the rear spoiler come from the pics where the rear bumper lower portion looks like a tall wing. It is just the lower part of the rear bumper. The rear wing is shown first in pic #5 in the center of the rest of the parts. This is definitely a 190e 2.3 16v body kit. it appears to be US spec as the front plate arrangement on Euro cars are different. It appears that it did indeed come from one of the 2000 imported to the US in 1986 and 1987.
@k9strategies - I can't say for certain since I've never had the kits side-by-side to compare part #s. But i do know that one of the easiest/best way to make either an Evo II or Evo II clone is to start with a 2.3/5 - 16v kit. Take that for what it's worth.
@StrategicMetal I don't know was asking you curious I can't find any info on it. Evo 1 and 2 are uber rare obviously compared to a 2.3 16 which is rare as well.
@k9strategies - it sounds like you know. Is it?
@StrategicMetal isn't an evo 1 kit though cosworth bumpers front Rear and cosworth cladding with side skirts and only differentiator is bigger flares compared to the 2.316 ones like this kit as well as bigger trunk spoiler than in this kit and a lip diffuser added to front bumper? So ideally cosworth 2.3 16 but with those add ons?
@k9strategies - an Evo 1 or 2 car/kit is an entirely different animal. Just dona Google search on Evo 1, Evo II and 2.3-16v to see the difference. They are all very different from one another.
But what is evo1 kit specifically then? Does it utilize cossie kit or a different kit altogether?
@K9Strategies This is the full factory 2.3-16v body kit from a U.S. spec car. No Evo 1 parts.
Is the wing a evo 1 wing or a cossie 190e 2.316 which it looks like I'm confused if this is really a evo 1 kit or simply a 2.3-16 cossworth kit..

@motorderby Thanks for chiming in on that.

@PhilippTtuv Yes, I just installed one on a '92 8v.
Hey will this fit a post face lift 190? I have a 1991 car. Thanks
@K9Strategies super cool build! Good luck with it!
.
@BabyBenzFan It must be an optical illusion - this is not an Evo I wing. This is the factory, dense foam style 2.3-16v wing.
The rear spoiler for this kit looks to me like it's from an EVO I because the spoiler is taller than the spoiler that's typically found on the more ordinary W201 16v. The DTM race cars were the EVOs, I and II and not the more ordinary 16vs. That's a real shame if it was an EVO I that was parted out and a big financial mistake as well. This will be an interesting auction to watch.
Hi all - I'm selling this very rare body kit because I have moved onto a different Mercedes project, and no longer need it, or the other 2.3 parts that I have accumulated for it. I've owned it for about 6 years; I pulled it off of a car at a dismantler in Ohio. If you have any additional questions, or need more media, please don't hesitate to comment. Thank you, and good luck!
@motorderby Indeed! ThanksI believe less than 2000 of these are true U.S. cars. And not many of them get parted out anymore.
These are really hard to come by stateside, especially complete – GLWS!
