There’s nothing better in this world than a S-Class Coupe. Mercedes-Benz knocked it out of the park with the C216 as it was a huge step up in reliability and build quality over the beautiful, but not as well built, C215. We had the Recession in 2009, so you had to be someone of enormous wealth to buy a six figure, 500 horsepower personal luxury coupe when the economy took a nose dive. This appears to be a very good example to spend your money on if you’re in the market. It has the perfect amount of miles (be wary of anything with a M156 that’s been sitting for a long time) and the Carfax shows it has been regularly driven paired with exclusive dealer service and lots of oil changes. The black/black color combination pairs well with its brutish nature and looks menacing with the factory fender flares. We like the M156 over the later M157 and this has the added benefit of being a late model M156 car. We regularly have conversations on what would be the best Mercedes to take on a cross country road trip and the C216 AMG makes a regular appearance in our discourse.
