Got it, so at this point it is been undetermined whether the dealership somehow altered the Carfax in order to sell it to you and then when you pulled a current Carfax it showed an accident... I would think that any competent reputable body shop could inspect a car and put in writing whether there's been any accidents or paintwork done to the car.
I guess I'm asking for some clarification… Your advertisement says that there was minor damage according to Carfax, but your last reply to my question was that, in fact, there was no damage so what's the story???

Yes, after reading the ad a little closer I saw that. The reason I ask is because in my home state we pay sales tax on the purchase price for dealer transactions but not for private transactions so I just need to keep that in mind with my bidding.
