Today marks three weeks since the auction ended, and unfortunately, the winning bidder has gone MIA. I’ve made multiple attempts to follow up, but I haven’t received any confirmation or communication regarding pickup or next steps in well over a week. Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop really appreciate all the interest and support.
@mknmike Thank you. On Sunday I sent you a message on instagram. Here’s my email address [email protected].
@Benz500 Congratulations, good to see you pumped! I hope it brings you many years of joyful ownership and smiles. You should be receiving an email from MBMarket shortly with my contact information. Talk to you soon!
@th_boone So true-I really love this wagon and will own another someday. But I recently received new work orders and just couldn't bring myself to put another 20,000+ miles yearly on it driving up and down the Florida interstate in rush hour. It deserves better!
@Peabo It has a 3.07 and originally had a 2.87
Just a few hours left in the auction! Feel free to reach out with any last-minute questions. Thanks to everyone who’s followed along—happy bidding!
@Reallygoodband Hey Chris, thanks for the questions! The A/C blows cold both front and rear. Picture 131 is from June 2023 when I had the system converted to R134A—it’s been excellent ever since. Cruise control is fully functional and I use it regularly. I do have the original Gullideckel wheels, but they’ll need new tires. If the winning bidder is interested in them, I’m sure we can work out a deal.
@mknmike I do still have the original dual-mass flywheel, but I’m holding onto all the old parts until the auction ends.
@mknmike Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. The transmission, flywheel, and driveshaft originally came from a 300D parts that were shipped to me from Canada. The flywheel was upgraded to a single-mass setup from Kangaroo’s Team. Originally, it was a dual-mass. If you ever need help with your swap or want to chat more about it, feel free to reach out. You can message me on Instagram: @stanlution.
@300GWRO Here’s a link to the installation instructions if you’d like to check out the details: https://w124performance.com/docs/mb/wheels/AMG_124_wheel_installation/wheel_install_16x7.5_ET37.pdf
@300GWRO No problem at all—happy to explain! The AMG fender spacer kit includes thin shims that go between the fender and the body to push the fender out slightly. This gives a bit more clearance for wider AMG wheels without needing any bodywork. It’s a subtle mod that AMG actually used back in the day to help with fitment and give the car a wider stance.
@christiano 1. Yes, I do have the original Gullideckel wheels. 2. The ride is firm but compliant. It’s running Koni struts up front with adjustable rebound, so you can fine-tune the feel to your preference. 3. There’s no rubbing on the outer fender lips (which are not rolled), but it does occasionally contact the inner liner on larger dips. 4. The exhaust and intake are completely stock and unmodified.
@300GWROThanks for the kind words! When I bought this 300TE, I honestly never thought I’d sell it. It’s been a labor of love.
I’m so happy thank you for the opportunity @amgfanatic. This kit is a true gem, I’ve been dreaming of this for a while. Making boyhood dreams come true.
I’m Stanlution on instagram I have a 92 manual swapped s124
Olllywexy see you bought zerorust old wagon.
Can you provide some info on a few of the photos. 33 appears to interior damage of the bumper. Was it damage? If so was it fully cracked to the front side? 34 appears to there a blemish or deformity? Photos 6, 7, 26, 27, 34 appears to be gaps in the impact strip are all taps intact and unbroken? Thank you.
Congratulations @LoC124. Are you on instagram?
@LoC124Thank you. I was aware. My thought was either to cut and extend the 3 or so inches or sell the rear on to recoup, some of the cost.
My body and my mind keep telling me YES. I need to have this! It would look so good in arctic white on my S124
