ASA 16” 8-hole alloy wheels are fitted with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires which measure 205/26 on all four corners with 2023 date codes. The seller states the tires were installed on the new wheels by Butler Tire, Marietta and wear approximately 1,200 miles. No signs of curb rash or corrosion are visible on the wheels with the paint in good condition. New lugs were fitted to the rear because of the slightly different offset of the wheel from standard as well as four OEM Mercedes-Benz center caps. The standard self-leveling rear suspension ensures a constant ride height at the rear of the vehicle even with heavy loads in the rear of which the owner performed a fluid flush and state works as intended. The factory spare is mounted in the rear along with the original tool kit, first aid kit, and jack. Other recent services performed on the steering/suspension system are as follows:
This S124 is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-six with double overhead cams and variable valve timing which is factory rated for 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 722.3 automatic transmission. The seller has performed the following services in preparation for the sale:
Previous repairs include fan clutch system, regular fluid changes, neutral safety switch, ignition coils, spark plugs wires, thermostat replacement, water pump replacement, and more on the Carfax. Underbody photos have been provided by the seller and show no signs of corrosion.
A thorough underside inspection, walkaround, and driving video is shown below:

@gsxr Always a pleasure seeing you in my auction. I don't know what they are since they look like they've been on there for a while and are just black, but it sits perfectly. And unfortunately no records from the previous owner which is why I went overboard on the services. The CarFax luckily has a lot of the service performed on the car before I came to own it. Thanks!$1,500 bid placed by @Nick75
Looks sharp! Do you know what lowering springs were installed, and when exactly? No records from the PO? GLWS! :)Hey everyone, this is the auction of my personal S124 that I’m relinquishing from my fleet on a NO RESERVE auction! Funny story with this one: A year ago one of my friends uncovered this car from the family that owned it since new as they just really didn’t need it anymore. I did a pre-purchase inspection on it for him since he wanted to rescue the car and bring it back to its former glory (this is what he likes to do as a hobby and he’s GREAT at it). I discovered it had excellent bones but deferred maintenance as most 124s have at this point. I helped sell the car to him back in… oh, it was probably March of last year and he wanted me to do the reconditioning on it. I hit him with a quote to get it as nice as he likes his car (which is as nice as I want my own stuff), he got cold feet, so I bought it off him since we didn’t want it to go into the wrong hands. I spent the past year or so driving it and refreshing its systems one-by-one until it transformed into its current state. I put about two thousand miles on this car and really enjoyed it. It’s an EXCELLENT Atlanta car and is useful to haul stuff that doesn’t fit in a sedan. I recently added a 1994 E500 to the collection and also own a S211 E63 and a S210 E320, so this car became kind of redundant and I didn’t drive it as much as it deserved – it’s also too nice to stuff dirty wheels and old AMG parts into the back hatch. I don’t like to stash cars away to not be driven. These deserve owners that cherish and use them – it’s a Mercedes-Benz wagon after all. I did so much to the car. There’s little things I serviced that didn’t make it onto the service invoice that I probably forgot, like spending five hours cleaning the engine block with a toothbrush while I had the head off, replacing little vacuum elements I had new laying on the shelves, and correcting linkages, hose clamps, o-rings, stupid stuff like that. I service my cars to factory spec using factory books and tools and order as many parts as I can from the dealership. This was a well serviced car before I got it, but I’m a level above psycho with how I want my Sacco era cars to run. The listing is extensive and thorough, but if I missed anything please feel free to ask for additional pictures or any questions you have on your mind. I saw on the Carfax (this thing has 100 service hits which is the most I’ve EVER seen) the head gasket was done by The Benz Shop years ago and I just put a new one in back in September. There was so much oil coming from the old rotting magnesium valve cover (which was replaced with a nice one) and dripping down the block that I’m actually not sure I needed to do it, but I dumb and wanted to do the head gasket job because I think it’s fun and wanted to inspect the internals myself. This… is how I spend my free time. Thanks for looking and I suggest serious bidders watch my video from beginning to end. I go over a ton of details in there, but the copy The MB Market did was very in-depth since I provided a lot of information. Thanks and good luck bidding!
