I wouldn’t have parted with this for $9k either. During the winter months I notice a lot of RWD sedans aren’t as sought after since people are focused on more usable winter cars.
@WDB748372I'm not sure if you're thinking of the global market, but there were definitely 653 sold in the US in 2001. Here are the numbers for the W210 E55 (US Market): 1999: 1,104 2000: 1,203 2001: 653 2002: 997
This looks very nice and well maintained. Very similar to my black ML55 and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing anywhere.
@PricklyPearAutoClubThat's too bad he backed out. This would be a unique car to own that NOBODY in the US has. Sadly I'm not in the mark for these right now but I wish you the best of luck.
This thing is sweet! I followed this on Bring a Trailer when it just sold 2 weeks ago. Did the winning bidder not follow through?
Wow these are rarer than hen's teeth. If only this was in the US.
.
Any chance we could see the condition of the carpets without those white floor mats? I'd also like to see the entire trunk area with the seats folded down without the mat as well. Do any original Mercedes floor mats come with the car? Thank you
Love my 2000 ML55. It's got 153k miles so basically the same as the one here. This one looks very nice and is very well presented. I love the way it drives and mine has never let me down! I'd highly recommend one of these to anyone. They are also very rare - I've never seen another one on the road.
Love seeing these pop up for sale every once in a while. I've had my 2000 ML55 for a year now and it's got 153k miles (I've added 15k). These are fun to drive and will run forever. I've seen lots with 300-500k miles on some of the social media pages I follow. I've never seen these wheels on an ML55 though - they look great!
Words cannot describe how much I want this. I've never wanted a G wagon so bad. Too bad this is in Germany.
Best of luck to the seller - I hope this thing brings all the money! This is a Mercedes you truly never see.
Too bad there wasn't more interest. This thing is really nice - I wouldn't have let it go for $11k either.
Dang that's a lot of car for the money! Can't believe this didn't go for more.
Wow this must be the highest mileage ML55 I've ever seen. Ever since Tyler Hoover owned that maroon one I've come to love these.
For the winning bidder - you will not regret this purchase. I've had my black 1999 E55 for 2 months now and I absolutely love it. This example looks as clean as you'll ever find.
@thembmarket That makes sense. The photos turned out perfect and both cars will bring BIG money, sadly out of my price range
AMAZING car. I'm a bit curious as to how this is from a different seller than the E500 that went live today. Both cars have pictures in the exact same location, but this car is in LA and the E500 is in AZ?
Absolutely stunning. As cool as a Hammer in my opinion.
