Beautiful vehicle with desirable options. I can't tell what kind of service has been done in the last 50k miles from the Carfax. "Vehicle Serviced" can mean anything. Big ticket items that may need attention in the next few thousand miles are brakes, rotors, ABC system, spark plugs and/or coils...or not. My 2004 SL 55 with 60k just had valve body and engine computers replaced for $5000. Not to say this V8 and transmission need anything. Would you be able to provide the inspection ticket from the garage? That would add value to the bidding for some, including me. I went to Tulane and love New Orleans. Good luck and thank you.

Since this car originated in the United States, what would be the import taxes/fees/duties to bring it from Richmond, BC to the United States. The shipping quote used above quotes closed shipping at $593.89, which I believe is the shipping cost only and not the import/export costs. Sorry for so many questions, but I am trying to anticipate the all in costs if I am fortunate enough to win the bidding and make the reserve. Thank you.
I see on the Carfax the miles and the kilometers. Carfax shows; 08/08/2012 18,029 miles = 29,015 kilometers 09/25/2014 14,291 miles = 22,999 kilometers This is the first discrepancy for Carfax 02/25/2017 24,959 miles = 40,168 kilometers 07/28/2022 17,422 miles = 28,038 kilometers This is the second discrepancy for Carfax Just confusing and nothing the seller can control. If Carfax would do their job accurately, the sellers and bidders would have a much less confusing process. This is a wonderful car.

Can you comment on the rollover accident listed in Carfax on 10/29/2019? Was there any frame damage? Do you know what exactly was damaged in the theft that the insurance decided to total the vehicle? Why is it showing as "BID To" instead of "SOLD FOR" if the reserve was met.
It was scheduled to end at 5:50. However, anytime a bid is made in the last 2 minutes, the time is rest to 2 minutes. In theory, the bidding could go on forever if anyone would bid within the last 2 minutes and keep on bidding. This is to prevent anyone from entering a last second bid and not giving other bidder(s) a chance to respond in a two minute window. Better for the seller and the bidder(s) who are willing to go higher for the vehicle.
The MB dealership where I live lets me see the VMI for other MB cars as long as I provide a valid VIN. On my existing MB SL600, they will print a hard copy as many times as I ask. I have been told that as long as I show that I currently own the car, they will provide a VMI. Any dealership that refuses to, IMHO, is not providing good service to their existing customer. CarFax shows tires replaced on 9/26/2022 at 46,122 miles. With current mileage claimed as 51,889, that means the tires have 5,757 miles. Is that correct seller? Previously, the tire mileage was quoted as "about 3000 miles". No problem, just want to make sure. Thank you.

From CFR Classic Vehicles more than 21 years old with their original engines may qualify for an EPA exemption. Vehicles more than 25 years old may qualify for DOT. All other vehicles must made for the U.S. market and EPA/DOT compliant. The undercarriage of your car will need to be clean and free of foreign soil. Therefore, you will need to have the exterior of your vehicle steam-sprayed or otherwise thoroughly cleaned before shipment to the United States.
Do you know if this vehicle meets (National Highway Traffic & Safety Administration) NHTSA guidelines since it was made in Poland? From what little I was able to garner from the internet, it may not be allowed to be imported without modifications and certifications. Any guidance or source of information would be helpful. Without more verifiable information it would be hard to continue to bid. Beautiful, well maintained car but it may not be one that can be imported to the USA.
In pictures 52 through 55 there appears to be damage to the paint between the front windshield and the sunroof. Would you comment on that?
