Fun sale! Love the later W124’s. I had a Florida spec ‘89 300E that was Smoke Silver Metallic with tan interior. Learned a lot about the W124 platform from working on it. Awesome W124 and great factory spec! Just the kind of "project" i'd like to take on. The details in the write-up and photos are great. I do have a few questions before I continue bidding. - Are all the gauges on the instrument cluster working properly? No 'lagging/bouncing needles' at idle or when accelerating? - Has the Jetronic fuel system ever been serviced or needing service soon? Does the car idle rich, lean, neither? - In photo #133 looking on the passenger side where the rear lift arm meets the chassis (to the left of the red lift arm puck) there is a spot of rust. Could you provide a photo or more detail if that is topical or a small part of the body rusting out? Just tough to tell from that photo angle. Looking forward to the auction!
