hmm ok
why not sell it back on cars/bids. very odd
Where is the previous auction listing link
will it cruise at 100-120kph in 5th
I think it would be appropriate to do such. Shuqrun
Shall we be getting driving videos start up etc?
High Bid was just under 95K$
impeccable... and i like how you threw off the purest with some different wheels that still work well.
Nice to see a duraflex kit work. Any photos of the build
very nice build tell us which body kit was used, PR tuning, Duraflex, Custom metal, fiberglass molds from an original.....?
patina boys car?
seller did you put a set on your black sec or did u go custom as for not having the down pipes... just make a custom set. Will probably fit better
Well that went for a good price
did u make it No reserve

I know y'all swoon over these, and Pierre hedary would say the car has horsepower power to spare.....but what in the world was Mercedes thinking whwn they sent out a 60 HP car . I know fuel crisis etc but they still had the m117 5 liter and just finished up the 6.9. Balance out the offerings. Sure sure. Maybe that's fine in today's line up but back 40 yrs ago. No thanks
jonathon we expect a full report, nothing less

yeah evidence of the 5.4 stamp for be nice.... easier than measuring the pistons
@swissbliss only use for mb stuff otherwise your right
@mbfahrer pretty dumb thing to say.
@swissbliss as i mentioned before reach out to him on ig at his screename here.
Matt Pierre would approve if you did a 240d transplant into the sec
The documented 5.4 was a good deal.. it will end up in the Patina museum. They did well. This car as everyone has stated should be less than the. 5.4. Even if it was a period installation of the AMG package it's still just a us car in body kit. The alleged buyer from the first auction will just have to deal with it that he was over paid on a car that may or may not be a real or tribute car.
I've seen the car. The c pillar and headliner are fine. Ok not perfect but not dropping on your head. Budget I dunno. 1000 if u wanted it all fixed
cool video. Are they speedo and tach calibrated accordingly?
cms thank you for confirming what many of us assumed was that was not an amg period build car but a tribute car. title should be changed but probably doesnt really matter. Lets see if it pulls "period" amg type numbers again or mmore down to earth tribute numbers
was great meeting allan and matt at legends. great discussion and wonderful work was wondering tho why is the vin number on the firewall different than the A pillar
how about this Seller, why are you selling?
@swissbliss the builder does M113 K swaps also. He just finished a black one. Ive sent you his IG through benzworld but u said you dont IG. Look up Kwiekclassics
@katbeh it's an AMG body kit installed by maybe AMG and maybe not . If I recall in the last auction there was discussion about that... Whoever bought it paid for a period install price and now is flipping it after it was sorted by the excellent CMS. It's a totally sweet car and even better with the. Transmission. Let's see what it does
stop calling it a minivan
low mileage - tmu im confused
great info , i was just watching a video about the amg shop in japan jstar and saw their cars had LOGO less amg three piece wheels. So i guess you are right that some company out there either forge or casted their own
yeah im sure they are not the chinese junk, but interesting to know how they are stamped, thanks
needs some love no doubt...excelllent starter project. Curious about the wheels. COuld you photo the inside of the one of the wheels for amg oz markings as i do not see any on the outside. I know there is one character in germany who has built very proper 3 piece version replicas without the amg logo, which these may be....as i do not think they are the china made performas.

expect this to end up with the patina boys in the kingdom
would it be possible to post pictures of the underside of the rear deck where the speakers are at. ALong with a close up of the dash speakers.. Even maybe pop off a cover if you can.
Beautiful Car . I have enjoyed following and discussing with you on your IG page. Few Q. Did you by chance have a look at the back of the cams for numbers 09/08 or by chance could they be amg 50 cams. also the timing chain/tensioner. As you well know they should be addressed at 100K. I Know this car doesnt have that but with skant records and a dark color rail would you consider doing that service prior to sale. Also was the fuel distributor refreshed at all, and were they any issues adjusting the k jet. The rear pentas are 16 by 9 or 8. I cant see on the wheel. thanks
Thanks for the clarification

Jono stop teasing. Go one about that 6.6 u speak of
@benzgarden how many have u had a chance to drive... Lucky kinda
known issue apparently, good luck finding new gaskets if needed
@sirmathrocks There’s no question that the most desirable engine to have in one of these cars is the 4-valve DOHC 6.0 M117 V8. For that reason, values can soar well into the multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on documentation, condition, and mileage. While these engines are true pieces of art all on their own, they also came with their own specific issues which made the experience of living with one from day to day a bit challenging. Their primary weakness was excessive leaking due to the sand cast heads which were rough and porous. For this reason, some engines were converted back to a 2-valve set up. Such is the case for this 6.0 widebody. This allowed owners to drive these cars more reliably without sacrificing much of the extra power, and aside from parts being more accessible, they also didn’t always require a specialist mechanic or tools to perform maintenance.
lovely color
