Thank you to the buyer and comments! Excited to be the car’s new caretaker.
Thanks for all of your interest. Great car at a great price!
Car has met the reserve.
As this is the final day for this auction, we'll be standing by to answer any questions you might have. Right after we acquired this car, I drove it on a 400 mile round trip (to look at a 1927 Nash) and the car did great! No rattles, no squeaks. The car is comfortable and quiet at highway speeds. It was a perfect opportunity to see if everything worked, like the radio, A/C and so on. The car was previously owned by a small business owner in Mississippi and used sparingly as company business transportation. It sat most of the time inside. We really like this car. As most of you probably know, its hard to find a car in this condition with these few miles. Mercedes built their cars to be driven and driven. My father's 1970 MB 230 Sedan had 257,000 on it before he traded it for a 1990 300D. Good luck to those bidding!
To our knowledge, the vacuum system is operating normally and without any discernible issues.
Heater works as well.
134 conversion and A/C blows cold.
@sowmsarvindundercarriage pictures you're referring to show factory undercoating and production line inspection markings. Its our understanding that no additional undercoating has been applied to this car.
Good morning to The MB Market! We wanted to let you all know at the onset of this auction we'll be as responsive as needed. We know how hard it is to find a 300D turbodiesel with super low miles like this one and expect you'll have lots of questions. Feel free to ask away. GLWTA, Greenbrier Classic Cars.
