This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over Palomino Leather (274), and power is provided by a 5.5-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The car was originally sold new in the United States and was exported to Canada around 1994 where the car has remained ever since. Equipment includes heated and power operated front and rear seats, power windows, automatic climate control with air conditioning, cruise control, rear footrests, and self-leveling rear suspension. This 560SEL now shows 106k miles and is offered for sale with a clean Carfax report and a clean Canadian title.
The exterior is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) and features darker-toned lower body cladding and chrome trim lining the beltline and bumpers. Exterior equipment includes heat insulating glass with an electrically-heated rear window, headlamp wiper/washers, and a power adjustable passenger-side door mirror. The seller has included detailed photos of the body and notes some corrosion along the bottom of both rear fenders. Other imperfections including a bent front bumper are detailed in the gallery.
Aftermarket 17" Penta-style wheels are mounted and wear new Ironman Imove Gen 2 AS tires measuring 245/45 on all four corners with 2024 date codes. The wheels were recently fitted and show in excellent condition. The rear self-leveling suspension is reportedly in working order and the seller notes the rear accumulators will need to be replaced.
The cabin is trimmed in Palomino Leather (274) and features Burl Walnut wood trim lining the center console, dashboard and door panels. Both front and rear seats are power adjustable with heating for all four seats. Interior equipment includes an Eclipse head unit, automatic climate control with air conditioning, cruise control, and rear footrests. The seller notes cracks in the wood veneer around the shifter bezel and normal wear on the leather front seating surfaces.
The instrument cluster features a 160-mph speedometer along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, fuel economy, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The mechanical odometer currently reads just over 106k miles.
This W126 is powered by a 5.5-liter M117 V8 which is factory rated at 238hp and 287 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
The Carfax report shows first entry in 1994 when the car was inspected in Canada. No accidents or damage is reported and linear mileage updates are shown. Please note the mileage updates are accurate on the Carfax, however, the mileage was reported in kilometers but was truly in miles.

Those wheels look good. Are they actual refinished Penta's ?
Underbody photos have been added to the gallery.
@aruysam @seba80 @all other bidders : PHOTOS OF UNDERCARRIAGE are uploaded, ZERO rust and in prestine condition .
@aruysam @seba80 sorry!! I had completely forgot. I will get some photos tomorrow during the sunlight. There is no rust underneath.

@SimonBelgium exactly. I mean I drove with them. But would ride much better with new tires
And I take it there are no (usable) tires on them?
@SimonBelgium they aren’t in the best condition. (In terms of the finish on the wheel). I would say $250 for the OEMS is good with me.
I had the same question about the OEM wheels :-) Can you state how much you'd want for the set of OEMs? I could keep the Pentas for another car in that case.

any pictures of the chassis from underneath?
@Mgtotheb good question, here’s a breakdown; It’s a USA specification car. Canadian buyers will pay 5% GST + provincial sales tax if applicable – For American buyers, importing into the US is straightforward and no taxes or fees are levied on the Canadian side. The car does not need any modification to meet USA standards since it is older than 25 years. – Current import costs are: a 2.5% duty and a few hundred dollars in broker fees. TFX International will ship it to you, and their in-house broker will handle all the paperwork. You can request a quote from them here https://www.tfxinternational.com/ It can take them a couple of days for them to respond so it’s best to get in touch with them early. If you need help, I personally will help you. All in all, it will be very cheap to bring over the border. Especially since I am 20 minutes away from the Washington BLAINE border.
What is the process and cost to import this to the United States?
@edand they do not come with the sale. However is the highest/winning bidder would like to have OEMS instead of these penta’s, I can arrange that and we will sort it out.
Do the original wheels come with the car, too?
