This 1998 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG Wagon was originally sold in Switzerland where it remained local to a single area until 2023. It was then sent to Poland for a full refurbishment by a Mercedes-Benz restoration shop where it was stripped down to the bare metal and repainted in its factory color. The current owner collected the car in Poland and drove it in Europe prior to importing the car to the U.S. in 2025. Finished in Green Black Metallic (189) over Blueberry AMG Exclusive leather (582), power comes from an AMG-tuned 4.3-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes heated and 10-way power-adjustable sport seats, 17” AMG Monoblock wheels, factory AMG body kit, rain-sensing wipers, heated windscreen washer system, xenon headlights, and parktronic. It is 1 of 772 examples produced and currently shows just under 223k kilometers (~134k miles) from new. The seller states the service booklet is fully stamped and in April 2025 a Service A was performed followed by a new fuel pump and filter in fall 2025. This C43 AMG Wagon is now offered by the seller with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The exterior is finished in Green Black Metallic (189) and features a sculpted AMG body kit with more aggressive styling on the front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron. Additional features included xenon headlights, headlight wipers, fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and a rear hatch to access the cargo area. Dual AMG stamped exhaust outlets are seen from the back. In early 2025 the car was fully refinished by a Mercedes-Benz restoration shop in Europe. The car was taken down to bare metal and fully repainted in the original factory color. The seller states that one of the front fenders were replaced during the refurbishment due to a dent that wouldn't smooth out. There's no signs of any rust and detailed photos of the entire exterior are viewable below.
Factory staggered 17” AMG Monoblock wheels are finished in silver with machined lips are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. Date codes on the tires show 2024 in the rear and 2025 in the front and were recently installed by the seller along with new front brake rotors and pads. The car sits on factory AMG springs with Bilstein shocks.
The interior is trimmed in two-tone Anthracite and Blueberry AMG Exclusive leather (582) with a matching steering wheel and headrests. OEM faux carbon sport trim accents the dashboard, doors, and center console. Normal wear with some creasing is noted on the driverseat. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated front seats, automatic climate control, and auto-dimming mirrors. The interior wood and leather remains well preserved and the original C43 AMG embroidered floor mats are included. The rear cargo area is lined with a factory mat and cargo net divider. A spare tire and fire extinguisher are located under the cargo floor.
White AMG instrument dials include a 280-kph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer along with gauges for temperature and fuel level. Digital readouts display the time and outside temperature while the digital odometer shows just under 223k kilometers (~134k miles).
The AMG-tuned 4.3-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The seller states the service booklet is fully stamped and a dealer service in April 2025 included a Service A with an oil and filter change and inspection. A new fuel pump and filter was installed in the fall of 2025.
The Carfax report shows first registration in the United States shortly after import in December 2025. The current seller personally collected the car in Poland in April 2025 and drove the car in Europe before importing the car to the U.S. This C43 AMG Wagon is now offered by the seller with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Montana title.
The seller has provided videos of the car below showing a detailed walk around and interior tour, driving footage, and undercarriage detail.

@mgslc I have never driven the car in the snow. It does have traction and stability control. However, it is rear-wheel drive and you certainly would want winter tires.I've loved looking at this all week. What a fantastic shape! If I may ask a question as an old man. How does it handle snowy hills in Denver? Does it have traction control?$20,202 bid placed by @Waxenberger

I have the twin to this and it is an amazing machine! The new owner will be in for royal treat@FraLi68 I see no issue with re-exporting the car back to Europe. I can provide the title and a bill of sale, which I think is all you would need from me.Ist ein Export nach Deutschland möglich?@cpe379 easier to keep it registered in Montana.. you’ll have to get car CARB compliant.. or you can get a California dealers license and have dealer plates.“it seems all of the heavy lifting has been done and your dream AMG wagon awaits with a U.S. title in hand” would be a bummer with this registered in Montana to have issues in Ca for smog or registration. Curious if anyone in this community might know how to find out? Much appreciated!$15,702 bid placed by @Cozzie
@ztman92 the display folds down to reveal a tape player. And there is a normal CD changer in the cargo area. Separately, there is a disc player for the navigation system. It displays directional arrows and street names, but not a map. The only disc I have is for Switzerland. @cpe379 - I don’t really know, unfortunately.Excuse my ignorance, but do these have a CD player or a cassette player? How does the navigation system work on something of this vintage?$15,452 bid placed by @kamngetit
Will this have any issues getting registered in California? The paint job was done about a year and a half ago. Not more than 3-4,000 miles on it. What you are seeing in those pictures is a bit of dirt, perhaps from a puddle. I made the mistake of not sending the photographer out with a spray bottle and a soft towel. While not paint job is truly flawless, I can say that this one is essentially a factory paint job. It is fantastic.Pictures 32, 71, etc. Was the car photographed dirty? What was the mileage when this paint job happened?I hate how much I love this. I loved my C43. Wagon even better. I need a warehouse at this point since I'm just completely out of room. Amazing spec.@waxenberger small world! Yes, that's me.@seller I think we met at Spinelli’s when you brought a purple 993. Saw (and may have accidentally drooled on) this car as well last year. Hey everyone! Just a few days left in the auction. This has been fun! If you're local and want to see the car, let me know. I've shown it to a couple of prospective bidders. Here's what the car will come with: - MT title - all three US import docs (DOT, EPA, and DHS) - Refurb records from Poland (in Polish) - Books and manuals - Stamped service book - 2x remote keys - 1x "flat" key that I'm not actually sure what to do with - German-language C-Class T-Modell/wagon brochure - 1x extra Monoblock wheel (a local guy had a one-off for sale that I was going to use as a spare) Logistics: I'm happy to pick you up at the Denver airport so you can drive the car home. I can also be widely available for transport and can recommend a couple of brokers. (And you can use MB Market's quote tool)Driving a C43 is already an amazing experience but to think of doing that in a wagon? Just wow... This is so cool!$14,500 bid placed by @SteveK

@dunlopilo Unfortunately, the Swiss (like the Germans) almost never pass on service records due to privacy concerns. Europeans believe in an annual service following Mercedes A/B schedules, which is what the stamped book indicates. If you watch the video above, you'll see that the car was serviced regularly by a few Mercedes-Benz dealers. I have experienced nothing but good-quality shifts, and I've driven the car in a number of environments. It was around 100F when I drove it home from Texas last June and, late last year, I was forced to drive the car for an entire day in 15-degree weather when the other vehicle I had at home had a dead battery! (The heated seats were great then.)An additional video has also been added showing acceleration and highway driving footage.Additional photos have been added to the gallery showing additional interior details, undercarriage photos, bare metal pictures during restoration, and during the seller's time driving the car in Europe.Transmission was a serious concern of failure on these cars. Is there any record of transmission fluid changes and or transmission replacement(s)?@avvocato I sent a bunch of underside photos into MB Market, so I imagine they will be added soon. (The car was on a four-post lift for those photos, so they are detailed.) I think the engine bay is documented quite well in the gallery, but if there are any specific items or places the photographer missed, please let me know and I will snap photos. I believe I mention in the video that the only electronic item that occasionally gives an issue is the parking sensors. They sometimes (and only at very low speeds) detect a phantom object up front. Perhaps one of the sensors needs to be replaced or calibrated. Otherwise, everything works wonderfully at this time! As stated below, I have driven this car a fair amount over the last year. I can make another video showing any specific functions you would like to see in operation. I neglected to upload a driving photo. I'm sending this to MB Market to add to the listing. In the meantime, please view it here: https://youtu.be/v_5W_F6hkYMThe videos are fast and blurry, so I ask you to please post more clear photos of the engine bay and chassis. I would also like to see videos actually demonstrating that everything works rather than just quickly saying so. Please confirm that EVERYTHING is working and whatever is not working. Do you have any inspection reports or state safety inspections? Would you assist with a local pre purchase inspection? Thank you.$11,750 bid placed by @Papa_jay

Caught a glimpse of this in person in Denver several weeks ago. Exceptionally cool. Great looking car! GLWA!$11,250 bid placed by @SteveK
Hi everyone! Welcome to my C43 Wagon (T-Modell) listing. I spent years waiting for the S202 version of the C43 to become eligible for import, and then I set a somewhat unreasonable goal of only considering one that was NOT silver or black. Given M-B only built 772 and, anecdotally, the interesting color combos mostly went to the UK, this was a challenge. And then I stumbled across this car, which was at a fantastic restoration shop in Poland. After a few FaceTime videos with their sales team, during which they showed me things like one of the first 100 G-Wagens ever built and a genuine 300SL Gullwing that was completely stripped down, I felt quite confident in their work. They essentially operate like a Mercedes-Benz Classic Center and they take advantage of old-world techniques that you simply won't find in Germany or France. The Polish shop took the car back to bare metal and replaced one fender since it had a dent in it that they could not smooth out to their liking. They also replaced the headliner and performed a full service, including plugs and all fluids (gearbox, differential, coolant, and brake fluid, in addition to engine oil). The paint quality is exceptional; I have done nothing other than wash the car since I got it. It is, of course, the original color. This is a somewhat unusual C43 wagon, though I suppose they all are! The blue/black interior is striking. This one was also built without a sunroof... if you're a slicktop fan, you'll love it. It has front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats with the multi-contour feature (which works!) and even a navigation system (which also works! But the only disc I have is for Switzerland, unfortunately). The car lived its entire life, prior to being sent to Poland, with two owners in a small Swiss valley. It was sold new at a tiny M-B dealer that is still in business... the kind that is also a gas station. Imagine that in the U.S.! The long-term owner prior to its Polish rehab lived in a tiny town of about 200 people deep in the Alps in the Val d'Anniviers... it's the kind of place where the curvy mountain roads look like a bowl of spaghetti. Notably, Switzerland uses comparatively little on its roads to melt snow, especially at higher elevations. There, the sun does the job. As a result, the car has an exceptionally clean underside. See the video... and I will send in some more photos. The car comes with a fully stamped French-language (Swiss) logbook, too. If you watch the full narrated walk-around video above (sorry for my rambling), I go through the book. The car was serviced by Mercedes dealers in the Rhone Valley. I flew to Poland and collected the car about a year ago, and then enjoyed it for an extended road trip through Poland and Germany. The car was then shipped to Galveston, Texas, and I drove it home. It gave me no faults whatsoever, right up until about 100 miles from home when the fuel pump started to give out. The car made it home, but barely... and I immediately ordered and installed a new Bosch fuel pump and filter! Otherwise, since the car has been in the US, I have changed the front pads and rotors (the rears were changed just before I collected it), the air filters, and the wheels. It came initially with the thin-five-spoke AMG wheels that were more common in Europe, but I felt it needed Monoblocks. I also fitted new tires at that time. The current setup has less than 500 miles on it. Why am I selling it? I like to import a car once every year or two, and it's time for the next bucket list item! This C43 drives wonderfully... it's a high-speed master. I cruised at around 200 kph for extended stretches where legal in Germany; it tracks straight and true. The 4.3L V8 is docile most of the time, but it wakes up at higher revs. The stock AMG exhaust is quiet... perhaps too quiet for some, but it fits the character of the car. I would trust this C43 to go anywhere. (And now I'm getting all sad about selling it... ugh!) Feel free to reach out with any questions! Over the next few days, I will send in: - pictures of the underside - pictures of my trip to Europe last year (and maybe a few from the US on its way home) - pictures of the shop in Poland - pictures of the car when it was taken back to bare metal I also have digital receipts from the Polish shop I am happy to send anyone... but they are in Polish.$11,000 bid placed by @kcar
