@TinoAndAlexExcellent. Thank you.
I am a sincere bidder/buyer if it is in fact as proven to be as presented. Please do that, I’ll happily proclaim to have been wrong in asking these questions and will do my best to place a winning bid .
@TinoandAlex I appreciate your passion; however, you would be best served by posting official documents from AMG Japan or an available AMG Certification. Asking us to rely as authoritative, displacment references on Japanese Export Certificate and German TUV. How about you posting, without explanation, pictures of an old E60 that has nothing to do with your car? Simply put, if engine is a genuine AMG 6.0L conversion from AMG Japan, why not just post that documentation or if not available, get the AMG Certificate demonstrating it as such.
@thembmarket my previous post is directed to you. I am happy to stand by my previously placed bid if they provide the AMG certificates on the donor car they now offer to provide, until then I kindly ask you to review the misleading items I mentioned and take down my bid.
@mbmarket the seller has posted documents that in my opinion contradict the description of the car in a misleading manner. Example: picture 245 claims the car is a genuine AMG 957 in part stating “ The vehicle we offer is an original model with the designation 957”. The documents presented in picture 232 and 239 reference different engine numbers. I am interested in this car only if they can “prove up” the engine to be as described “a genuine AMG M119 6.0L”. Unless or until that happens I kindly ask you to remove my previously placed bid which relied on the authenticity of Sellers statements.
My understanding is that all engines bored out by AMG to 6.0L were stamped into the block with at a minimum of “6.0” at the time. Perhaps the engine is a 6.0 but to me it’s not in any way presented as an AMG 6.0 without the engine block numbers showing it as such. Not reasonable to ask us to ignore that fact and rather rely on the Japanese Export Certificate and possible vanity badging on the engine block air intake cover.
@TinoandAlex: additionally, the engine numbers referenced in documents 232 and 239 indicate different engine numbers (11997412006641 and 11997012032442) clearly the numbers don't match and neither one contains the critical “60” stamp. I kindly ask you conclusivley “prove” the engine is a genuine 6.0L AMG engine since what you have presented is about not only the donor car W140, the subject car W124 but also about unrelated cars the prior owner sold seperately E60 spec sheet document. Also, not having a clear photo of the engine number etc
@TinoandAlex, please retake a more clear photo of the engine block showing the engine number. An authentic AMG 6.0 should have the following numbers stamped into the block: 11997060 it appears the numbers you show are missing the critically important “60”
@TinoandAlex, Please explain the document in image 245; specifically where it misleadingly states: “ Das von uns angebotene Fahrzeug ist ein Originalmodell mit der Bezeichnung „957.”
How many KM were on the car at the time of the engine swap? The listing mentioned the engine had 132 KM at that time but I dont recall seeing how many KM the car had at that time. Thank you for presenting a wonderful car and opportunity.
Thank you for the opportunity. Very nicely presented.
Beautiful car. Is the body kit, bumpers and side skirts genuine AMG parts, and if so, can you post photos of the manufacturing stamped logos? Thank you.
Enjoy
@Seller: What is the cost to box and ship the wheels to USA Postal Zip Code: 55416?
@BENZHOLICS what is the cost to ship the wheels to Minneapolis, MN 55416 USA?
Thank you
I think saw a video posted by the Seller showing this car sporting aftermarket exhaust tip. This listing is missing pics of the underside showing the exhaust system. Would be great to hear if this was put back to stock or if there are existing modifications to this area.
Are the original wheels to be included in the sale for the buyer?
Would love to see a drive video to get a feel for how it sounds, shifts as well as the functionality of buttons/accessories, etc. Is one in the works,?
Sorry for my last question being repetitive, after reading your other shipping quotes, I assume it is similar to the other US shipping prices you told others @ $570 USD. If not, please advise. Thank you.
Seller, please advise Shipping cost to U.S. zip code 55102
@youngclassicamg: any insight on if these rims will fit a 1999 CLK Coupe (C208)?
That's a lot of car for $37,500....
IMO, any price beginning with a "3" is a very good value proposition.

How many keys come with the vehicle and are they original or replacements? If possible to post a picture of them would be nice to see their condition. Also, the listing states the headliner is intact, but would like to see some closer photos of the headliner by the rear window….or at least a confirmation from seller that it isnt beginning to sag at the edges toward the rear.
@robbye55 please post some pics of the service history that seem to be missing from the Carfax and listing description: Dates when basic fluids were changed (transmission, coolant, differential, break, p.s.). The car seems so nicely cared for, cant imagine isn’t running on 25yr old fluids. Also, can you share with us the condition of the motor mounts and transmission mount & Current tire tred depths (pics). Car obviously appears to be very clean, which is exciting; however, deferred basic maintenance can quickly add up as a hidden cost to buyer after the sale. Beautiful car….thank you for listing it and giving us a shot at buying it.
@nebras is the E50 still for sale? I am very interested at your $20k USD price mentioned below. Please message me and advise. Thank you.
