Somewhere up in heaven bruce_m is smiling. This one is right up is alley. Stunner!!
Thank you very much to everyone for the comments and bids. Congratulations to @RIKKO33
Headed for the home stretch here. I am standing by for any late questions. I can also assist with shipping. I have shipped cars all over the country, to Canada and Europe too.
Well this has been a bit of a quiet auction. I believe you're correct these came with a 4 speed auto not 5 good catch. Take a look at the paperwork on this car. Someone spent north of $100k restoring this car. No stone left un touched. Mechanically its was also gone through recently by my friends at AutoTronics in Southampton PA. They're my go to shop for all of the modern Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo and Aston's I auction around the internet. This car is truly in tip top shape cosmetically and mechanically.
OMG the Holy Grail.
I'm locked in for the last 10 minutes. If you have a question fire away.
A couple hours to go on this stunner. This is everything a luxury sports coupe should be. This particular car is absolutely LOADED with options. Just a stunning stunning car with excellent performance and a nice AMG growl. Super low miles and well serviced.
@DSartor no plans at this time.
We are under the 1 hour marker. This car is as nice as it gets and its a pretty rare find too. As an added bonus its 1 of only two with the same owner having both. There are $25k worth of options, this is a loaded car.
We're in the final day. If you're looking for an outstanding E Class 4 matic with more performance than the standard E and a huge compliment of options then this is an outstanding choice. The condition and service history of this car is impeccable. As with all of the cars I have sold for this owner, this car is as fine an example as you will ever come across. Every single document associated with the marketing, purchase and service of this car remains with the car and goes to the new owner. It has a 100% documented history. The car has never has an out of the ordinary issue and its always been serviced by Mercedes Benz authorized facilities. 2 keys, all books, the tablet holders, front plate holder, and on and on all remain with the car for the next owner. I will be on the road much of the day today. However, I will be back in my office well prior to the end of the auction. If you have any further questions please post them here. Otherwise, hit the "Contact Seller" button and I will answer them as quickly as I can. Just one more note, as we enter the final 30 minutes or so I find it best to post the questions here so I see them promptly and can address them right away. Thanks
We're headed for the last day in this auction. As I mentioned earlier, I have sold several other cars for this owner. Each of the three were pristine examples of their year, make and model. R129, R230 SL600 and a C7 ZR1. Like this car, every single document, window sticker, all keys, every record from new came with those cars and all of the same material comes with this car. 100% serviced at Mercedes Benz. 100% up to date with fresh service. You will not find a better performance e Class without stepping up to the e63 at more than double the price. This is easily the finest example of a rare e400 on the market.
Thank you for looking at my auction for this beautiful e400. This is a fairly rare car, this configuration is also 1 of 2, where the owner who I represent the car for also owns the other identical build. He’s deeply engrained with MB USA, hence the special order of two of these cars. Being a car guy and an enthusiast, the standard e class didn’t offer the performance he was seeking. Without stepping up to the AMG this is the performance version offered by MB USA. The special headliner and interior pillar covers were specially done for the owner on the two identical cars. I have sold off several cars in the collection, each of which was about the finest example of that particular model you’d find anywhere. That is a testament to the car and pride this owner has with all of his cars. I sold his R129 SL500 and his R230 SL600. Just like those two cars, every single record associated with the purchase and maintenance of the car comes with the car, along with 100% of the original equipment, both keys and anything else you can think of. Not a single penny was spared in the car of this car. It comes freshly serviced and inspected. This is not just any e400, take a look at the window sticker, this car is very very loaded. As always, I try to monitor my auctions as closely as possible. If you have any questions, please post them here or hit the contact seller button and I will get back to you as quickly as I can. I am very happy to help arrange shipping anywhere you like. I have shipped cars all over the country, to Canada and even Europe.
Wow that was a great battle. Congratulations @blachads Thank you to everyone for all the bids!
Wow that was close I saw 1 second left on my screen
Still a screaming bargain. My e250 sedan gets 45 mpg on the highway!
This is a ridiculously low price for such a nice suv
Down to the last ten minutes. Someone is going to get a smoking deal here.
Thanks for looking at my auction for this nice little diesel GLK. I know, I know, there is an AMG Hammer running now that's going to grab all the attention. Hey, this is the Hammer's distant cousin, okay very distant cousin. This is a nice little GLK that since its a diesel is just getting broken in. The high bid is going to take it home. The GLK runs, and drives just like the factory intended, its clean and straight with a lot of nice options. This is a top top notch commuter SUV which gets killer MPG. I have an e250 as my DD and it gets 45 mpg on the highway. This little GLK has been well serviced and just needs a new owner to enjoy it. Let me know what questions you have, I try to monitor my auctions closely so just post em up. Thanks
Well done. I am happy to see this one sell. Its a lovely car. Thanks for all the bids. Congratulations to @4thguy4444 well done.
Books, records, 2 master keys, 1 wallet key.
You wont find a nicer W210 sedan anywhere. Single owner. Zero paint work. Low miles. Serviced and ready to go.
We are under an hour. I am standing by for any last minute questions. Thanks for all the bids so far. Lets hope this one sells today!
@Kangs happy to arrange delivery anywhere in the US or elsewhere.
Thanks for looking at my auction. This is such a nice e320. Low low miles, 1 single owner. Well cared for. I would love to see it go to a new home. Happy to show the car to any locals. If you have any questions or pic requests, just let me know here or hit the contact seller button. Thanks
One more thing. My thanks to the guys at the MB Market. You guys do a great job!
@CICBarkeep naaa I am a dealer, I have sold cars here and hundreds on BAT too. I just needed a wagon to replace one of our family cars and I couldn't find what I wanted in other markets. I am also a sucker for green cars.
@batto513that was my last bid and I almost posted that in case you wanted it more than me. I think the price was a grand more than I wanted to pay plus the fee but I need a wagon and I like green. A fair bit of the heavy lifting in service has been done. I am sure it needs more.
well, I paid more than I should have. But I am a sucker for green cars and I need a wagon.
@Masondixoncraigagreed on a car of this age and mileage its expected and not really that big a deal unless the entire car is painted or there is lots of filler in areas. This one appears very tidy and well serviced. Thanks for the answer.
Sorry if I missed if it was mentioned.... How many keys?
Sorry if I missed it..... How many keys?

The triple crown Wagon Manual Diesel You win
Oh that's a bummer. Thank you to everyone for all of the great comments, and of course for all of the bids. The owner has decided if the reserve was not met he would be happy to keep the car. We were very very close, maybe we can make a deal?
We have people who bought v12 cars from us who still send us their cars from all over
Don't forget, if there is anything service wise you want done, the guys who worked for Bruce and now work with me are all certified Benz techs and we can have anything you like done at a fraction of the dealer prices
Okay okay.... If the car sells and you come pick it up at the farm, I can't throw Lucy into the deal but I'll let her slobber on you. Hows that for a throw in? 135 pound Bull Mastiff slobber? You can let her ride in the car if you like too, but bring a rag.
We're very close, I'd love to see this sell. The owner is a great guy and I would like to see it go for him.
Bruce was the 5th ranked goalie where we only had spots for 2 on the varsity and 2 on the JV. Our Varsity backup went down in the pre season and all of us on the Varsity team were buddies with Bruce and lobbied to get him on the Varsity as the back up. Our starter was a standout in Minn, he was doing a PG year, we figured Bruce would never get into a game. Well our starter got suspended for a game and Bruce had to play. We were diving in font of shots to protect him, trying to earn the win for him. We came up short. He was so well liked on the team we were still happy for him.
Bruce was a goalie, which would explain his sense of humor. We played our last game together a few months before he passed.
@abutterer we all miss him, he was a good dude. We went back 40 years. We played hockey in Prep School together, class of 1983. Jump into the bidding. This is a car Bruce and I sold to the current owner.
Hey I still have to feed my dogs and one is a 135lb Bull Mastiff. Lucy gets angry if 7:30 comes and she's not eaten.
@abutterer naa I have to keep my dogs. I was over at Bruce's place two weeks ago to say hello to his family and his beloved Carmine is still guarding the house. Bruce ran a great auction, he was a really funny guy with his comments.
BTW this is a former bruce_m car for those who knew him. Bruce was my business partner and long time friend. He was a legend in the Benz world
Home stretch here. This is a wonderful, well serviced S600. Take a look at the VMI report that's included, no stone was left unturned in the care of this car. On top of that we just replaced the SAI pump and lines, flushed the ABC system, replaced the ABC level links, replaced the trans carrier, did a full A service. This car is just fantastic. I'd love to see it go to a new owner!
We're in the final day now. I would love to see this beautiful S600 go to a good home. Its a wonderful car. Fully serviced, turnkey ready to roll. These v12 cars are the pinnacle of the S class lineup. Effortlessly cruise at high high speeds for hours at a time, or blow off unsuspecting sports cars at the stop light.
@MDdriven I tried to get a shot of the pads but the spokes are too close together and their depth prevents being able to get a good angle through them. The brakes are easily more than 50% remaining according to my shop.
@MDdriven I'd be happy to. I can say this. My crew has been through this car twice. If it needed anything at all we'd have done it. @E350mania I'm in Newtown PA and I'd be happy to arrange shipping anywhere.
Thanks for looking at my auction for this fantastic S600. I love these cars, the v12 twin turbo is just a jewel of a motor. Massive torque, gobs of power, runs all day long a high high rates of speed, with that special feel of German engineering. This one is bittersweet, it’s a @bruce_m special. Bruce and I sold this car to the current owner the last time around on BAT. He shipped it down to me so I could sell it for him, and have our guys go through the car. In prep for the sale, the same guys who worked for Bruce went through the entire car. All of them are certified Benz techs. They replaced, the SAI pump and lines (a big job), replaced the coil packs and ignition box, flushed the ABC system, replaced the trans mount, did a fresh oil change, and on and on. We wanted this car to be turnkey. Also look at the VMI report provided. This car has always been dealer serviced and clearly done with an open checkbook. Full disclosure, the dynamic upper side bolsters on the drives seat do not function. I could not justify ripping apart the seats to diag the issue. Quite frankly I have put a few hundred thousand miles on the 2 W221 diesel S Classes I have owned and never once had any desire to use that function. Everything else works as it should. These cars are just so understated with the only clues to just how great they are being the v12 badge behind the front wheels on the quarters and the S600 badge on the rear. However, when you bury your right foot, it will leave just about every other big sedan in the dust. I shudder to think of how many cows gave their lives for the massive amount of beautiful leather all over this beast. As always, if you have any questions, or would like a specific picture, please post em up or hit the “contact seller” button and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thank you to everyone for all of the great comments Thanks for all of the bids. Thank you Ryan for the help. Congratulations to @Theduke474
I got married this past June, on the "record" I don't do that anymore. :-)
It would depend on whose driving.
The car is a non-smoker.
Always happy to arrange shipping too.
We're under an hour to go here. I am not at my office but I'll be glued to the smart phone. If you have any late questions, post them here and I'll answer them asap. Hoping for a nice finish on the gem. Thanks!
I don't have paint meter shots handy. I believe the paint to be all original. I will try and get over to the warehouse this weekend and take some paint meter shots. I don't believe either headlight has been removed or replaced but I will also reach out to the PO. Thanks for the questions.
@CCCCvery very minor. We've owned the car for quite a while and there has been no change in it. Not all that uncommon on these cars, there is no break in the paint at all.
I am dialed in here for any last minute questions. This is as nice an S as you'll find on the market these days.
I have some records but not a full set.
Everything works as it should, windows, HVAC, seats... This is a very very nice example.
Just wanted to add a comment on my auction. This is a really lovely car. Clean and straight. Starts, stops, runs, and drives beautifully. You could easily hop in and drive it across the country. These big Benz's were built like tanks. This one's been well cared for it's entire life. It was owned by a family who had multiple vehicles and multiple homes. It's had just enough exercise over its life to keep it in tip top shape without the miles of a typical 88 vehicle. This is my first listing here, I have sold many many interesting and vintage cars on other sites. I'd love to see this gem go to a good home. If you have a question or a pic request, post it here it hit contact seller. Thanks

Thanks
