Terrific SL…I have owned two W113, and four R 107’s… i bought my ‘84 280,( 5speed) but kept my 380 as an overlapping test. There is a lovely response to there, and the 6 has a very pleasant exhaust sound. Im told these are Pierre Hedarys favorite R 107

LRd1… yes, Carfax shows roughly 6 k a year use. The owner was diagnosed with what turned out to be a terminal situation roughly 15 months ago. Car was Left in garage until retrieved in last few weeks. I was asked why car went yo Viti, rather than Inskip where it has long time history.. I wanted yo avoid any questions about a too close relationship.

Good evening, I have loaded the other page of repair order, showing tank test of tire. Also two underside pics when car was being serviced… very rust free.
Mserpe… good questions, most of life spent in Franconia NH… far from the sea… RI was near Warwick too… I will try and post second page of Viti report whete they tank tested tite 20 minutes, no leaks… I do have two under neath photos , i had cover plates removed, to check for any leaks, all dry… and not to get into a long discussion, but checked rear sub frame. Ir you note the internal VMI, it lists that extended warranty till 5-05-2028

Wannaallcars is spot on, my 81 TDT has been repainted twice, my home built in 84 repainted four times…. How paint is today important. I live 20 minutes from Quonset, entry point for Porsche, Audi, Bentley North East…. 20 guys in bodyshop fixing light damage before it gets to dealer…. Perfect work
Shockingly cheap for a great R107, Euro bumpers, Classic color, 180 on mine, they go forever.
A set of four Bundts appeared on todays Facebook Mercedes 123 wagon group, refinished, at $500....good value if the ultimate winner of this car wants to be more traditional.

Speed is a relative thing...my '81 TDT feels like a slug after a drive in my 996 Porsche cab.....but it feels very fast after a couple hours in my '82 240D...:)

@toddatty… thank you for the bid, @ivrestoicloud, I sold my ‘84 300 TDT on BaT a couple years ago for $35k, only to see one last week for $41k sold. MBMarket di lots of thinking before they determined a fair reserve.Great low mileage, great care, and imho best color.

With regards tolack of AC, my guess before you chase the usual suspects, it was a disaster system in these from Daimler involvement with Chrysler. Look at add in The Star for Per Analysis, George Murphy, MB tech wizard remanufactures the electric box, replaces plastic with aluminum. Almost always the culprit.
The rubber souroundes, gaskets, for front and rear windscreens are NLA from MB Classics...

I personally own a 123 coupe, sedan, and wagon, a R 107 with 5 speed and a M110 motor a Arnage a 996 Cab oct.....I act as a broker and generally buy almost a million dollars a year in MB for clients. I arranged this sale in 2010 for my client, and now as she has just turned 80, is no longer using it. Just enough milage every year to keep the car in use. No smoking, no pets, always kept in a windowless, climate controlled garage. Happy bidding!
These are terrific cars without the Turbo, I have a 79 in Forrest green with twice this miles, gets lots of thumbs up.
